I like WGIGO and it goes over well live. I'd rather they dropped Born to Be My Baby which has been done to death and Bad Name (which will never happen).

I'm with you Becky but I'd be happy if they dropped all 3. There are so damn many good songs that they don't play.

I reckon most of them would be stood there gthinking 'what's this one? Is it a cover? Where are the toilets?'

Remember this is America, I reckon it'd go like this "what's this one? Is it a cover? Where are the toilets? and more importantly where is that hot dog stand I visited 20 minutes ago? I'm hungry again..... why is my ass so big?"

I don't mind WGIGO that much, but would love to see it replaced with OWN!

No, they really wouldn't.

They need to rotate the setlists more. I know they're starting to re-learn some of the old stuff to add a bit of variety but who says that they have to perform every major hit at every show? I went to see Bruce and I was disappointed I didn't get Thunder Road and Jungleland but hey, I'm not bothered at the end of the day as it was a great gig. Bon Jovi tend to think a bit too much about the casual fans rather than the hardcore, hence why WGIGO is a staple.

I love Edge of a Broken Heart. You had to be there when it came out...it really was a HUGE hit! It was a really exciting time for the Band as they weren't that popular yet. This was at the beginning of the Slippery hits so BJ weren't known by the average person yet. Then to hear this song out of nowhere on the radio one night hanging with friends cruising the ave....it was invigorating. LOL! It was like YES, these guys are great and we knew that for years already. We had been trying to turn people on to the band since the beginning. You had to be there to know why this song is special..I admit it maybe just to me. LOL!

OK...just found this blog now, I am not alone on this.

I think you're misunderstanding, I LOVE Edge of a Broken Heart. Should have made Slippery, far better than three of the songs that made the record. However, 90% of people at a typical show wouldn't know it anymore than they know a new song, or an old album cut. So yeah, I'd love to hear it, but no crowd would blow the roof off for it.

Dropping Born To Be My Baby has been done before - they didn't play that in Crossroad tour and I don't recall it showing up in any of the These Days shows I've heard.
