Default Dry county solo (dublin)

For me this was the highlight of the night at Dublin. I stood watching this in complete amazment. Has to be the best solo Bon Jovi have ever done, and on this particular night, richie absolutly nailed it!!

Well it wasn't faithful to the original but a lot of it was the same licks and passages just mixed up a lot - still fantastic even though I never got to see it at either Hampden or Hull

I even made a HUGE banner for Hull to get them to play it and, even though Jon came right over and read it, they still never played it. Gutted!

Well - you can't beat the original Goose. It's a classic!

Still an awesome solo and I'm jealous of all of you who were lucky enough to hear it at Dublin and Manchester! Did Dave play the keyboard solo intro to it as they did in the mid-90s?

Mongoose - 11,022 posts?! That's fantastic.

I was lucky enough to be at Croke Park, and Richie's solo on Dry County was astonishing. In my own experience of live music, I can honestly say that this was the greatest piece of musicianship (is that a word?) I've ever witnessed. It was quite literally amazing. I have a memory of Jon doing some Bill+Ted-esque air guitaring while Richie was shredding away (but can't be sure if it was during Dry County - I think so).

Not sure about the intro, it lasts for about 40 seconds..it was pretty much like the album version (Manchester)

There's people with loads more posts than me, I like to think mine represents dedication, but not sadness

Ha ha, the air guitar by Jon would have been a sight to see.
