Default Dry County

I know it prob sounds spoilt but I'm sick of it. You can't knock last nights show but I don't see why they had to play it two nights in a row. Manchester has had it in the encore for the last 3 tours. I love the song but limit it to 3-4 outings per tour and make it magical again.

Come on. It's a mother****ing huge and brilliant song. This is just proof that people will bitch at anything. They could play These Days every night, and people would complain. Just take it as it is. There's PLENTY of people out there (like many American fans, but it wouldn't matter because the verses are the best part, and they don't know them) who have yet to hear it.

I sort of get what you are saying Carli, maybe 2 nights in a row does not make it so "magical" but to me it can be played 5 times in the same set I will still get the same feeling as yesterday, a heart bumping faster and weak legs.

Hoping tomorrow they do STBI though as I have missed it so far.

Yes if they played TD every night I'd complain, it's a special song, it would become boring. I was there when they played it for the first time in 11 years at Dusseldorf, it was amazing. When you only get a couple if rare songs per show and this is now played every other night, less chance of hearing something with the WOW factor.

I partially get the complaining, due to them playing Dry County in the rareties slot there's less chance of getting something else you actually haven't heard before, and considering how Dry County is obviously done to please the die hards Jon's still not getting it.

However, the main reason I personally wanted Dry County to be played again was and is because it's a great song. And great songs deserve to be played, hence I'm not complaining if I get it every night, I enjoy it. It's just like I said, it's a shame that with Jon there's no such thing as Dry County and more rare stuff, he now sticks to Dry County and These Days and thinks he's got the die hards covered, while pretty much every die hard in Europe has heard both songs plenty of times now.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I have a feeling Bristol may be a "dark horse" of a show with a gem like STBI, hope you get it

Well, as someone who wasn't in Manchester and wasn't at the show they played it at the O2 (went to 7 of them) I am absolutely delighted they played it last night.

I've heard Dry County at four of the five shows I've been to, and I wouldn't mind if I heard it at every show I see because it's my favourite song, I love hearing it.
