Default Dry County - Wembley Stadium '95

According to bonjovi-archives.com, Dry County was performed on all 3 dates at Wembley Stadium.

Is this info correct?

If so, then why was this taken away from the Official DVD Release?

There are bootleg recordings of 2 out of the 3 nights that verify Dry County being played, June 23rd and June 25th. If the second night, June 24th has any bootlegs audio or video I don't know about it.

And I have no clue why only a portion of that concert was released rather than the whole thing. I have heard it was due to tape limitations but tape could hold a hell of a lot more than they put on it even in 1995.

yeah some songs were less but for example dry county could've easily beeen put on.
And to make it even worse, they cutted out 'These Days' out of it but then put the studio version with footage at the end... that never made sence to me

Half the concert was culled from the Live From London release, songs like Dry County, Blood on Blood, Bed of Roses, These Days and Saturday Night. A shame.

I've often mentioned the ridiculousness of leaving out Dry County as it was an awesome version with cool David Bryan piano intro. In a cheap ass move that beggars belief they didn't even include the rest of the show as extras when the DVD was finally released, instead just copying over what was on the video. Typical Bon Jovi unfortunately, look at the re-masters series for further evidence of their lack of respect for fans. Where most bands will add in bonus songs, demos and re-mixes when releasing a re-master, Bon Jovi actually removed the bonus songs on the original albums. Look at the Deep Purple remasters for an example of how it should be done. These are probably record company decisions so can't totally blame JBJ but surely he must have some power over these things being put out in Bon Jovi's name.

The only saving grace in terms of recent releases was the boxset which actually looked like some time and effort had been spent on it. It was a really cool gift for fans and actually restored my faith in them for a while along with them performing Dry County in Mancheser on the HAND tour.

I'm lead to believe that the Live From London video was out-sourced and not actually a Bon Jovi production as such. Something on the old Q&A section of the site suggested the band didn't actually have any say over the edit/run-time etc.

Though I find that very hard to believe! It's more likely the missing songs had some errors which couldn't be covered up in post-production although again this seems unlikely.....

Considering that the audio was broadcast they cannot have been too worried about errors on the missing songs. We have them from the radio broadcast.

I guess we may never know but it sure is one hell of a wasted opportunity.
