Therefore they play a "classic" (lol) like Cpt. Crash ALL THE TIME. Where is One Wild Night, where is These Days, where is I'd Die For You, Dry County, Wild Is The Wind etc. And where the hell is KEEP THE FAITH??? It's no Jovi-show without this song. Moreover, why do they "waste" Prayer by playing it somehwere inbetween, just like any other song??? If it's no opener on this tour, it's a perfect song to end the main-set or the whole show. Oh dear, there's a lot to be done on the setlist.

KTF, Johannes

PS: I need NO covers except for Rocking In The Free World, that's a great one!!!
Hey, can't have everything. Look at Bruce Springsteen. He does the same thing. They play what the like, but they still put on one hell of a show!!
He could have sang Mary Had A Little Lamb and I would have been happy. Usually, I am just as critical, but it was that good.

I'm wondering the same thing. A Jovi show without Keep the Faith?! No jungle screams? Whaaaaaahhhh!

We always know we'll get a great show - but the setlist was still below par i think. As for Springsteen his basic set stayed the same, but he switches the order of songs around, has certain ones in rotation (rising stuff)... then (especially on US tour towards end) he was playing songs he hasn't played live since the 70s or 80s, took a request from an audience member ("I'm a rocker") as well as debuting about 3 songs per night...

florida shows got because the night for first time in decades with bono and dave stewart... and also travellin' band...

Bruce really mixed the set up! so i disagree with that bit about it being the same with him mouse.

Bruce does mix it up a bit LetItRock, but he leaves out a lot of fan favorites. For instance, 10 shows at East Rutherford and they played Rosalita once. Glad I was there for that one. I guess you are right though. He just frustrates me because like Jovi, he has a ton of material and sometimes you never get to hear certain songs.

I still love him though.

i know what you mean Mousey...

I was referring more to the Rising Tour...

UK we get on average 1 springsteen tour every 4 years or so, with about 3 different venues...

he did all those NJ shows, and a tonne of MSG ones also didn't he...

Jersey is the place to live for concerts - you're very lucky... is there a venue in NYC called "My Father's Place" at all ?

i can't understand why some say that they have to do keep the faith- i guess you've heard it a billion times- seen it on thousands of live videos- and most of you have been to more 5 bj shows were they played it- my question: don't you get bored from seeing and hearing the same stuff over and over again? i do and i'm glad that they dropped faith and hands but it's actually not enough- they should kick dead or alive, BAD NAME, wild in the streets,... too otherwise bj shows are becoming boring- cause its more or less always the same - only the stage changes

@ christine: i'm sure they won't drop i'll be there for with richie on vocals

yes but they are not going too - in which case we'd (most of us) rather have keep the faith (the only song i personally feel they have performed on last 3 tours with the same power as when they first recorded/toured with it)...

it would be ok if they dropped KTF and replaced it with let it rock or homebound train, but they are not going to... instead we'll get crappy cover versions to fill up the numbers... or bounce/crush songs...

i agree that stuff like bad name has gotten a little boring... but the alternative isn't an 80s best if unfortunately, it would be a It's my life x 22 setlist
