UK we get on average 1 springsteen tour every 4 years or so, with about 3 different venues...

he did all those NJ shows, and a tonne of MSG ones also didn't he...

Jersey is the place to live for concerts - you're very lucky... is there a venue in NYC called "My Father's Place" at all ?
"My Father's Place?" I will have to ask my husband because he grew up in NY. Sounds familiar, but I am not really sure.

Yeah, Bruce did play a ton of shows here. Guess I should count my blessings.

Thanks... if I'd been alive in 60s I suppose i could have been lucky in that i'd have been able to see Led Zeppelin every 6 months or so in manchester, and bands such as floyd, genesis, cream, deep purple...

but i wasn't and i'm not...

instead we'll get crappy cover versions to fill up the numbers... or bounce/crush songs...
now that's interesting... don't you think they should play the songs from their new album? (referring to bounce)

it would be ok if they dropped KTF and replaced it with let it rock or homebound train, but they are not going to... instead we'll get crappy cover versions to fill up the numbers... or bounce/crush songs...
Yeah, my opinion. It seems like they have replaced KTF by Captain Crash or something, how poor. KTF, Bad Name and Wanted are classics. I want to hear them on a Jovi concert. Same with Lay Your Hands On Me. These are CLASSICS. Wild In The Streets and especially Captain Crash can easily be dropped, but not the classics. And I'll Sleep When I'm Dead was neither a hit single nor is it a classic. I needn't hear that. It's an average song. Mmh, that's it so far.

KTF (longing for it), Johannes

PS: How often did I use the word "classic"?
