Or did it state in the T&C that in the event of liquidisation, no refund is available?
How can you take legal action when they don't have any money to pay you? The reason they've gone into liquidation in the first place is because they can't pay their creditors and believe me, the people who've bought tickets are going to be way down the list when they start selling off assets to release cash. The bank's will get their money first and the rest will be split up as best as can be.

I have been buying tickets from e-bay for years and so far (thank god) have never had a problem. I only pay for them through my credit card and I only buy from individuals or business with 100% good feedback (and plenty of it). So far that has protected me, fortunately. There is no way I could have gone to all 10 Newark Shows at $300.00 a ticket (and there are 2 of us). I bought far cheaper tickets on e-bay.

Hi all,
Dolphindancer28, and anyone else from the Bristol area who has been affected by the Elite Ticket Shop scandal where people are missing out on seeing Bon Jovi at Ashton Gate, please get in touch. I am a journalist on the Bristol Evening Post and am writing a story on it. I would like to speak to people who have been affected, so if you can give me a call on 0117 934 3324 or email me at d.harris@bepp.co.uk, that would be great.
Thanks,
Dom

Yeah same here. I was referred from the official venue-site to Elite Ticketshop so how the h*ll was I supposed to know?? My luck is I paid with creditcard so it is likely I will get a refund. But it sure ruined the day I found out about the so called bankrupcy. I managed to get a new ticket through the organisation of the fanclub in the end so hopefully that is all going to work out, even if I am not going to be in front row. At least it means I didn't organise hotel and flights from abroad for nothing!
@Thomas Anderson and Andi; real easy to make judgement huh?

Yes, it is. The only big, official ticket company I'd ever buy from is TicketMaster, even if the venue website linked me elsewhere. If it's a company you've not heard of, especially in relation to something like this, there's probably going to be a risk, and you can't blame anyone for it.
