RDS is pretty small after them playing in croker last year.
It has to be croker.
And they will only allow three concerts a year I think.

I'm checking these forums and bonjovi.com every day to see if the European dates are announced

I'll probably go to Wembley and a more local show, Manchester most likely. Although if there is another interesting date I might take that up too.

Yvonne, I've been to three concerts at Croke Park and I have to say that, in general, the security and stewarding weren't strict at all. For U2 in 2005, nobody's bags were searched, and leading to mass audio / video bootlegging - some people were openly deploying camcorders on tripod stands! For Bon Jovi and Robbie Williams in 2006, I saw stewards making recordings on camera phones!

Of course you could be referring to specific incidents, and I have no doubt that the Croke Park personnel are fully capable when called upon to act accordingly.

Dunno about anyone else, but since the shutdown of the message boards on BJ.com, I don't bother going there any more. I certainly wouldn't rely on them for any kind of up-to-date information, let alone concert date announcements. As far as I can tell, BJ.com's news section was last updated on 18th October, and they've made no mention whatsoever of the New Zealand concert that I believe actually goes on sale next week.

This leads me to my real point. For the HAND tour, there was a presale for the show that I went to, and presumably there was something similar for the rest of the dates. The presale was on Ticketmaster, and required a password to buy tickets in advance of the general sale. I'm hoping there'll be something similar again, or am I just being optimistic?
