Default Europe having a bad day

Well it is Friday... Despite promises last week, no new European tour dates have been announced...

No dates in northern Europe.

I find it kinda weird that they add dates "if album sells well". I mean, isn't touring supposed to PROMOTE the album, so that it WOULD SELL well ??

Less dates -> Next album sells less -> Even less dates next tour -> Next album sells even less ...

Trust me Mikko, they won't do a northern european tour. It'll only cost them a lot of money. Don't want to upset you but this are the facts unfortunately.

I reckon if there are going to be any more dates that Belgium or Spain or Italy will get those.

Apparently Welldone had been trying to get them to come to Finland, but the price was too high.

Do you got any idea what promotors have to pay for Bon Jovi for just one concert?

I´ve no idea. Obiviously too much since they´re not willing to take a risk of losing money.

Well it is about time to realize that Jon and the boys don't do shit for the fans or because of the fans. It's all about cash cash cash, and preferably more or it. 100 0000 00000 dollars can't be wrong.

You are partly right about that, it also have to do if they sell out. They obviously don't want to perform for "just" 10.000 people.

The thing is, that they wouldn't lose money. It's just the promoter that would lose it and they're not willing to pay what Bon Jovi asks because they would lose the money. Bon Jovi will get paid no matter what.
