I want to be clear that I'm not criticizing your perceptions. However, why should he change his record if no one else is? The same people are always posting the same negative things, so it fits right in.

Yeah, I do get the distinct feeling the overall joke of this has been completely missed. Ironic.

if i actually thought that it was a joke maybe i would have got it, but it seems to be an intentional dig at a number of fans. i'm not expecting him to change but a bit of slack given would be OK. at least the people who criticise are able to see from both points of view.

its funny, Derek seems to be against freedom of speech (that bastion of America, GOD BLESS AMERICA!)

if Bon Jovi fans are not satisfied why the hell shouldnt they comment? Its not much effort to change a setlist really is it?

just out of interest, if you went to McDonalds (I know you yanks live there) and your cup of coffee was cold, would you just put up with it? or would you ask for your money back / another cup ?

true Mongoose. But if someone doesn't like the coffee they're drinking, why are they always shelling out money to by 6 cups a visit, and then consantly complaining about how disatisfied they are with the taste..hey, there's a burger king right down the road that would LOVE to have some customers...

ESOOGNOM... witty one that you are... let's play with your metaphor.

If the coffe were cold no, I wouldn't accept it. I'd POLITELY ask for a new cup of coffee. If I were going to the storefront regularly because I liked that cup of Joe and there was the occasional cold cup but the restaurant always redeemed itself, I'd continue to go.

If there was a continuing downtrend with regards to their product and service, I'd move on to another restaurant but would find it incredibly pointless and boring to hang around with a bunch of other customers and do nothing but discuss how bad the coffee was - life is too short.

If I thought the coffee was no longer very good but I still liked the other items on the menu, the prices on the menu, the service, the owners, the atmosphere and the convenience of the location, I'd continue to go to the restaurant, but not for coffee - I'd find another location from which to purchase my coffee.

In retail and in the service industry, the customer is always right (or so goes the saying) but that doesn't apply to the entertainer/audience relationship - that phrase is only invoked when someone wants to justify their sense of entitlement and the need to express their unhappiness by way of demands, which get you nowhere and no respect.

With regards to what us YANKS do, what you don't know could fill volumes. And the point of freedom of speech is that I can speak out if I don't like what someone else says. and you can speak out if you don't like what I say... the whole circle of life thing, young Simba. See how that works?

They will keep on sitting at the same place. Their asses are too fat to get out of the chair.

REALLY? I only use three different PCs--one at home, one at work, and occassionally, my brother's. I guess it's because my work computer is on a network?
