This is going to seem random, but I just remembered that on one of the interviews I’ve heard with Jon lately, mentioned some “stuff coming up with iHeart.” Does anyone else remember that? I’m fairly confident I’m not delusional.

I remember hearing it, too, but I can't remember where.

The Spotify list shared on the previous page can't be legitimate. Where's Always? This song could not possibly be missing from the band's most popular songs list.

Even with today's standards they should be able to top that dreadful 2012 performance

No way. At least Jon could still sing Who Says and Medicine there, whereas last year...

EDIT: Here's a better video of the iHeart show, with no "commercial breaks" repeatedly popping up in the middle:

I agree, this must have been the band's worst post-2006 gig in terms of Jon's vocals prior to July '13. Even Tokyo '08 was a million times better, while still way below his regular LH tour standards. At least Saturday Night was awesome there:

However, at least he was still energetic + mobile back in '12 and went for every note with no playback used at any point... the high part before the Prayer solo about makes me want to throw up (Jon's voice cracks SO bad on the long "praaayyyeeer" it's actually more funny than sad or shocking), but at least it's live!

There has to be a mistake... Always must be in the top 5 at least (if not the top 3).

I don't think it's a fluke. According to this, it didn't make the top ten in a 2016 Rolling Stone's reader's poll, either.

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/l...-songs-w448920

Their Top Ten, beginning with #10:

Blaze
IBTFY
KTF
BN
BoR
IML
DC
Runaway
WDOA
LOAP

I can believe it, personally, because while I like "Always" it's not anywhere near one of the first songs that come to mind when I think of Bon Jovi.

That said, though, I think that Spotify list is skewed anyway because of the high rankings of THINFS. A lot of that has to be due to the extra airplay just because it's a new album.

Yippee!

The guys are going to perform a warm-up show in NYC next Wednesday!

Here's to hope for Only Lonely, Stick To Your Guns, I Believe, Something To Believe In and Stay... or maybe not.

Seriously speaking, I wonder if Jon will have the balls to go for Always next week. If so, he'll probably butcher it - but it's still better than nothing, right?

IMO, Toronto got definitely the best Always version performed so far on the THINFS tour. It was miles better than Greenville for me - sorry, Walleris -, as while Jon may have sounded a bit more powerful on the first night (and the ending was epic, I'll admit it), the overall amount of bum notes was much less in Toronto. In Greenville his voice was constantly flat and cracked on several parts of the song, whereas in Toronto the only moment where he honestly sounded bad was the final "will love YAAAAA...".

PS. If not Always, maybe Bed Of Roses or I'll Be There For You at least?
