Didn't he hit something like a Bb4 in the ' Please Come Home For Christmas' cover in that Instagram video?

The other leg is probably Europe (Probably the first leg).

Jon's entire range has lost three semitones - a step and a half - between 2008-11 and now (C#5 -> Bb4; he can't really hit B4s anymore, save for the brief "LIVIN' on a praaayyyeeer..." in Pittsburgh 2017). For a high baritone/low tenor like Jon, it's actually quite a noticeable drop, especially within such a short period of time.

It seems like he's very lucky.
Atleast having BB4 would be as good as having a C#5 for him nowadays
(He hit C#5 or C5 (I don't remember) in KTF 2015.).
It's also a good thing he can still sing in the tenor range.
As I know it's pretty rare to find someone with a natural chest voice range like that.
His talking range was G2 - C3 during 1988 all the way to 2013 or so (It's around F2 - A2 area now as I see.)
Jon could hit atleast F#2 even in 1989.

Jon could sound like he did in some 1995 concerts during 2000 (You can spot/hear it by some early concerts on the 2000 Crush tour. For example Living On A Prayer 2000 Nagoya.). I don't know why he avoided it though.

He never has had completely proper technique (Except maybe 2007 to 2013, I bet it wasn't completely proper even those years. Except possibly breathing technique which seemed correct those years.). I can see that in 2017 and also 2018 he stopped using proper breathing technique. Haven't really checked out 2014 - 2016 videos though for some reason.

That was atrocious. I don't care what notes he hit

That’s right, he did hit a C#5 on KTF in Singapore ’15. That said, it was more of a scream than a regular belted note, so I don’t think he really can hit notes above Bb4 anymore without switching to falsetto.

Poor Aussies, didn't their ears suffer enough in 2013?

If he tries to reach anything above B4 he probably must shout it loudly or do something close to a scream.
He actually reached A#4 when he said "Wayward" (Before "son") in KTF Rio 2017, when I heard it I thought it wasn't that loud.

The way he sometimes expands his chest and pushes it down (Very bad breathing technique for singing.) also unneccessary to do that and can possibly cause timing problems.

I remember someone saying on Youtube that Jon got a vocal teacher/coach before the These Days tour. I wonder why the coaches didn't teach him properly though, it's weird.
The only good enough vocal teacher seemed to be the one
before the Lost Highway tour started.
The ones that suffered badly from it were definitely 2014 - 2017.

Jon's voice is probably the most interesting voice to talk about in my opinion.
