That's what they did here (Letting You Go from the o2). Look at the big screen, it was the same view for the entire song. I'm sure they can have somebody backstage manually switching cameras every once in a while if they need to.

I know, I was lucky enough to be there so know it can be done .
If anything some of the production varied at times- during different shows at The O2, IML would normally have loads of tiny screens, but sometimes they didnt do this.

I've never said that production was an excuse for rarities not being played. I've said, it's Jon, lol! Video/lighting programming has been going on for Jovi shows since even as far back as the SWW tour (things are much more high tech now). Their crew folks are very skilled to handle a song in regard to lights or video if it's called as an audible, that's never an issue.

thanks for the explination of an audible,i knew it was an extra but i thought it meant crowd reaction,ie are they loud enough to deserve another song ! how does my mind work, doh !!

Michael, I like your version better, lol! The term is actually an American Football term where the quarterback will "call an audible" at the line of scrimmage which means he changes the original play.

I know you haven't , but some people have tried to use it as an excuse for this tour even though, as you say, its been that way for ages its just more advanced now. The setlists are always down to JBJ so thats where any blame/credit is to go!

But to be fair, it sounded terrible so you can see why they dropped it. They just blatantly haven't rehearsed the new stuff nearly as much as they should have before touring it.

I love Brokenpromiseland, but it did sound terrible. It's got so many effects and synthesizers, it just wouldn't sound the same live. It could've sounded much better with a little (or a lot) more practice.
