I have seen them play live with the band and they are for the most part unnoticable visually but there is a difference in the texture and sound of the music with the extra players that I really like. the backing vocals are much fuller sounding, and since in recent years they have added more layers of guitar work to songs it has been difficult to recreate live without pinning Jon down to being the rhythym player. With Bobby there, Jon is free to move around more concentrate on his vocals etc... Don't worry, Richie is doing all the solos and lead guitar work, no one is taking away his "thing".
From what I've seen and heard Bobby and jeff have blended in well and neither detract nor are a distraction when seeing the band live.

Does Anyone Remember A Tour Called, Slippery When Wet?
They Sure Didnt Need This Crap Back Then When They Were Good.

And Yes, Next Tour Comes The 3 Female Backup Singers. You Called It Dude! Goodbye Bon Jovi....hello Pink Floyd/rolling Stones.

What A Joke.

All that means is that on the Slippery When Wet tour the songs didn't use as many layers as the more recent songs do. Get over yourself. Anyway, Guns N' Roses had female backing singers. And whats wrong with them anyway? What, you don't like females or something?

Uuum if they need it why dont Jon just play more guitar?

what annoyed me tho with the New York show is that for 'Who Says You Cant Go Home' they had 3 guitarists, and none of them were playin the finger picking melody bit to it which sounds really cool, they were all just playin the chords, what the fuk is the point of gettin a 2nd guitarist in if he isnt even goin to be playin the backin guitar but just playin the same thing as richie and jon, if there goin to do it they should make the most out of it!

thats my little rant over!
