After three phonecalls to Ticketb'stard, two of which went to my own phone bill and will leave me flat broke for the tour, I got one arrogant, hostile and EXTREMELY worrying answer, and two friendly, helpful and a LOT more comforting answers.

During the last two calls I made, the two different guys I talked to both said that my tickets SHOULD get to Finland on time for me to get them with me on the road. And the guys also said that IF I (or my friend, actually) don't have the tickets by 13th June, I should give them another ring and they will then sort it out somehow that I WILL be able to pick up my tickets at the box office, and that TM would also do their best to ensure that I would get to enjoy the fan club privileges.

So all in all, I've spent an indecent amount of euros today talking on the phone with Ticketb'stard, and I still don't know more about my tickets than I did yesterday. If all goes well, my tics MIGHT make it to Finland on time for me to get them... But it's still equally possible that the tics won't get here on time and that I'll have to call TM again to arrange the box office collection.

It certainly does. I'm still sorting out a mess they made when I bought Springsteen tickets for Giants Stadium this summer. Ticketmaster's servers were so overloaded the morning they went on sale that charges never went through to some credit cards. And some credit cards, like mine were charged twice. Then they didn't want to give me credit for THEIR mistake. I finally had to go through my bank to get my credit as Ticketmaster refused to deal with it. It's just nice to know that it's not just the US that has problems. Good luck - I hope you get your tickets.

Actually, they are quite good here, so why they suck everywhere else is a mystery.......bloody hell though, how frustrating!!

We are exactly in the same position as Anu. We'll leave the country tomorrow so there's no way were gonna get the tickets before that (although TM earlier said we might). If our tickets arrive before Anu leaves the country, they will be sent to her (one way or other) and she'll bring them to us to Glasgow.

But if they don't arrive before that, we have to use a courier service, but I checked that an envelope from Finland to Great Britain costs 41,60 €, it's not THAT bad. As long as we don't have to do it many times. I just hope that tickets for all shows arrive at the same time and we don't need to worry about them one at the time. Or then we can pick them up, and I'd rather pick them up the day before than on the day of the show.

But I don't want to let this spoil our tour, we have 5 shows before we're heading to UK and we're gonna to enjoy them first. I'm sure everything will turn out fine eventually.

i'm so sorry 4 that, jovian. i have passed by something similar, and it's frustrating. i bought 5 tickets for madrid concert through ticktackticket (the spanish company that sell bj tickets in this occasion). they sell me seated tickets instead the ones i supposely bought: stand-up. the ****ing telephone was a machine! no person to talk to! i have made at least 5 complaints, in the telephone, by mail, by the bank that support this system... and no response, so i had to take my tickets, and in the concert, after speaking a lot of time with a security person, i can convince him to let us pass to the arena. really mad! this is the 1st & the last time i bought tickets by phone. next time i will do it in person, even if can't get them, never again by phone.

i hope you can resolve the problem and be bouncing soon...

Cause you all worried about those tix, I decided I would try to call the ticketservice to ask about mine.
Well as you told me it took a long time before I even got someone to answer me.
I told about leaving home on friday and this girl told me, they wouldn`t send out the tix, because they were too late. Everyone has to pick them up at the boxoffice.

If I won`t have them on time, I will check home before going to the UK I guess we will have to pick them up.
This is really crazy..but he you know what? This happened 2 years ago too, and the years before that too.
ALWAYS THE SAME SH*T ABOUT THE TIX IN THE UK!!!!!

wow..and i thought ticketmaster here in the states was bad....they still suck and charge outrageous service fees, but at least we get our tix well in advance....here in the states ticketmaster has on option where tix can be emailed to people...they don't have that for ticketmaster uk??
