This is just good propaganda publicity.
The fabulous Jon Bon Jovi working for free for the poor spanish people ... LOL I love how easily people get manipulated ..... a good publicity like that makes probably more money than the money they lost for that free show actually ...

Can the guy EVER win? If the tickets are expensive... **** him, the tickets are expensive! If the tickets are cheap... **** him, the tickets are cheap!

Get a grip, people.

By the way, the rest of the band get paid money too, and agreed on this as well, they don't work to collect the confetti thrown by the fans during "Captain Crash".

Oh god.. I'm from Spain and after they announced they weren't going to come here because the crisis I'm very thankful for this big surprise to spanish people ( for finally coming here, for the cheap tickets, for working for free here and for the affectionate words for spanish fans ) c'mon I'm pretty sure all of you were proud if they would do this in your country but in this case it's their relationship with Spain and it seems like jealousy

Wow Jovimimi, how long were you waiting for another chance to crucify Jon? Need to be a little more subtle in your intense dislike for him. Although subtlety isn't a strong point on this board!

As others have said, Jon and the band can't win right now no matter what they do. I have seen some of the comments on Facebook and many of them are similar to the one that started this thread. There seems to be so much hatred out there it's amazing that they can fill a stadium at all.

I think they should open the show with Work For The Working Man

Good god! It is not a free concert, the band have waived their fee to enable cheaper tickets in Spain than the rest of Europe.

We cant complain as there were £12 and £25 tickets availalble, even if the rest were quite steep.

Spain is not the only country in crisis.
