Yes and this is why I find it appalling. People paid lots of $$$ for the trip and when I heard it was very brief and not a proper "tea" with Jon as was advertised if I am not wrong, I just found it irritating. But I only heard this from one person, maybe those who were able to ask him a question think in a different way.

He was there for around one hour answering questions. It was fun even though nothing really new was told. Most people who had questions were able to ask. I really don't know what I should ask though.

The money we payed wasn't just for the tea with Jon but also for 3 hotel nights incl. breakfast, dinner, autographed tour book, transportation to and from the O2 for both nights and 2 concert tickets. Yes it is a lot of money and the fanclub could have done more without any afford (on the second day there wasn't any activity beside the transport to the O2). But it was okay for me.

By the way, there were around 140 people on this Q&A.
