after this tour I'd say: yes

At times things can be arranged very messy, like in Gelsenkirchen this tour, which almost made me loose my faith in the fanclub (it was the first year I joined them). But things went amazing in Bremen and Ostend, which resulted in a front row spot & a good place in the pit! So yeah, it's worth it. Even when you arrive late at the stadium (I arrived in Ostend around 4pm), you have a spot in the pit almost certainly, that's pretty good.

This tour I went with the normal GA twice as well and I can tell you that a concert is much more enjoyable when you're in the front! Hyde Park was a great concert, but I watched the whole show on the screens, which was pretty disappointing. I would've been in the pit if I weren't at the concert with other non-members . I had a great time anyway, but still it would've been even better if I were in the pit!

It's worth it when you make more than one concert. Otherwise it's too expensive with 40 Dollars a year.

The only reason I am in the FC is for the tour! And for me it is worth it! I wouldnt join yet though cos you may spend Ł26 on nothing as they may not tour next year! Hnag back until dates are released.

Well, you guys have convinced me!! I'll be joining for the next tour! I saw HP on the screens too.. I wish I had been closer to the stage.

I think its deinfetly worth it.

I only went to one show but it was so worth the $40 to get up so close to the stage and actually see the band right in front of you! And not have to fight for your space, even if your at the back of the pit you still get a great view! Its great!

It's much easier for European shows to get great seats with the Fan Club. Here in the States, you need to be at the venue on a certain day at a certain time (usually a week or two after the general on sale starts) to get the fan club seats. That would mean extra days off of work and extra travelling for many of us. For me, it just wasn't worth it. I still had great seats at both shows I saw this year. Plus, I can only get one fan club ticket per membership. Well, that would mean going to the shows alone or at the very least, sitting alone at the show. I just didn't see the benefit in it this year.
