It's much easier for European shows to get great seats with the Fan Club. Here in the States, you need to be at the venue on a certain day at a certain time (usually a week or two after the general on sale starts) to get the fan club seats. That would mean extra days off of work and extra travelling for many of us. For me, it just wasn't worth it. I still had great seats at both shows I saw this year. Plus, I can only get one fan club ticket per membership. Well, that would mean going to the shows alone or at the very least, sitting alone at the show. I just didn't see the benefit in it this year.
