If you don't like reading about the shit that comes with Bon Jovi then just avoid it. Everyone likes to have a good old complain every now and again. Some people have to realise that Bon Jovi aren't the perfect band that some people think they are.

Glad you had a nice time.

Default Thanks

I did have a great time and thanks to all those people who are glad I enjoyed myself.

To the others - well, I've said it already so I will get on with my life and remove my tongue from up Jon's backside!

Tongue in cheek is so good sometimes.....

Dave

By the title of the thread i think you may be trying to question people on here who arent happy with Bon Jovi and yet still call themselves fans. You make the point about how "Much" you spent flying over to see the band as if that gives you the right to condone anyone else who didnt.
I am also from the UK and saw a show at the "Rock' and as i stated in another post doubt if i will ever go to see another Jovi show until they decide to be a rock band again.I went to the show to see Bon Jovi, not a woman with a fiddle and two other blokes adding backing music. If my criticism of the band make me less of a fan in your eyes then so be it.....

And I have to say - great, great, great, great, great!

Music was good, atmosphere was good - def worth the £1000 ($2000!) paid for the trip - and yes, you read right, I did pay that much.

And just so you know, I was in block 210, on row 9 - there are no more rows after that, so I was not exactly close! Everyone around me was up on their feet the whole time, including the young children who would put most of the users of the board to shame with their energy and committment.

So to all the people on here moaning about the set list, the seats, the prices - WHY DON'T YOU SHUT UP!

I have been reading the boards since they started at the Pru, hoping to pick up some tips about coming over to NJ and most of what I have read is some muppet telling us what each song is - if we are not there do we care? - and then others saying how disapointed they are cause they've not played this and they've not played that - GET A GRIP!

So that is all I wanted to say really - and no, I do not expect many replies cause I dont want Jon to have my children, haven't seen them a thousand times, cant list each album by note - I HAVE A LIFE!

Already booked my tickets for Twickenham next year too.

thanks,

Dave
Thanks Dave, I am really touched by your story. SUCKAH!

Firstly, would love to know what makes me a 'SUCKAH'?

Secondly, I am not questioning whether a fan is a fan or not, more wondering where all the moaning and groaning comes from - aren't we happy that our band are playing live. regardless of which songs they are playing?

And on the point of backing musicians, maybe, just maybe, the guys need a little bit of support now to play these songs - I'm also a Queen fan and there has always been a least one extra guitarist playing, called Spike - he may not have always been on stage but he was there.

No, we're not a bunch of idiots who get their kicks out of hearing the same "gems" like Sleep for the zillionth time/tour.

Salaam Aleikum,
