Again, I do notr recall saying that anyone was an idiot. If that is how you feel then why go at all?

Being a fan of a band is like being a fan of a football team. Obviously, there are other teams out there you could support and go and see, but you have an innate loyalty to the one that has provided you with good times throughout your life. Everybody has the right to complain; Bon Jovi are supplying a product and if that product isn't living up to what you expect of it for the price you're paying, you have the opportunity to voice your discontent. Paying nearly £100 for a ticket to see a band play the same songs as last time with the same arrangements and only a handful of new songs isn't acceptable. For those sorts of prices there needs to be some variety, particularly as there are a lot of people out there who go to multiple shows.

I'll get my tickets, go to my shows and bitch and moan if they don't live upto expectations because I have a right to do so.

I was just reading this thread when you posted. You summed it up nicely.

Are you honestly trying to say you weren't belittling people for following setlists?

You may not have used the word idiot, but your intention was clear.

Idiot.

Yes, I can honestly say I was not belittling anyone. We are all anonymous on here, so slagging someone off on here is a cowardly act and if you read through various other threads you will see just how cowardly people are.

For me, I just do not see the point of knowing which songs are being played as they happen, that's all, nothing more, nothing less.

Elsewhere someone wrote that everyone is entitled to their opinion, which is what I did, clearly people did not write like some of the things I wrote and chose to use language more fitting for the gutter and also started to make it personal.

All I am saying is that the amount of time and energy that goes into moaning and groaning on here - imagine if that was used for something a little more constructive? You only have to look at how many times some people have posted - often thousands - to see what I mean.

I could go on but quite frankly I am finding this all a little dissapointing - who would have thought that fans of the same band would treat each other so poorly?

Dave

Eddie, thanks for your positive comments, I too thought Saturday was great, think I would have been dissapointed with LH on Friday.
