Money doesn't grow on trees, and to be honest there are better things to spend it on than one of the worst fan clubs in existance.

Well, it worked out as £72 for 2 years and 3 months membership. That means it costs £2.66 a month. Whilst it's not the greatest FC in the world, it's really not a lot to pay to be kept in touch with what's happening in the Jovi world. I'm not a big fan of the FC at all if I'm being frutely honest- I despise a lot of the things that go on (Along with the guy who runs it), but I'd rather be a paid member and be kept upto date on things, than not be a member and (potentially) miss out on something.

Yeah, I do get where you're coming from, but really, I don't particularly want a membership. The forum sounds crap (and of course, Seb made that site with some incredibly stupid posts from it), most of the news is published elsewhere and everything else is ridiculously expensive (such as this fanclub show).

I'll just go without knowing what this is about

There's not even any mention of this show if you go to the fan club's homepage. Wouldn't you think they'd want potential members to know that a private concert is taking place?

is the FC show still taking place ? Is the row just about gift bags or who is going to be at the concert ie JBJ or BJ..... surely these questions can be answered here without causing problems with backstage ?

Ahh Kev, I had no idea you were such a groupie. And actually being hostile to people who ask for the stuff from there to be shared here for free...that's really totally unexpected. I think I had another Kev in mind. It's almost 3 year now though...time to catch up again mate!

The show is billed as JBJ and friends, so who or how many of the Band will be there is unknown, guess it depends how busy everyone is. The gift bag thing came up in a letter from Matt to the FC. Some people choose to create controversy where none really exists, FC trips and shows have always had goody bags as far as I can remember, so saying it's a bribe to shut people up about the price, when that's already been explained is just people trying to stir the pot.

And in case you missed it the show is a charity event with part of the ticket price going to the Soul foundation. My guess is the "profits" ie anything above the costs of putting the show on is the donation. Just a guess.

Perhaps it's sold out? No use advertising it then.
