It does feel like the beginning of the end as a live act. Jon has deteriorated rapidly. Richie isn't coming back. It's sad they'll probably bow out at this level. But What a band on their day. The best ever for me.

Critics have been always harsh on them so I don't think getting the prize matters that much in the end. To the fans, BJ is the sh*t and I thank God I got to know this band. Their music makes my life happier and although I do wish I could reverse time and attend one of those energetic balls on stage, I still have a lot to be thankful for. So it's all worth it anyway.

Nah - not at all.

I know David as a very introspective person and he was there last night. He (of most people that I know) is able to be objective. So I am really interested on his take of the show. He is also a long time fan so he has knowledge of how Jon has sounded over the years.

The irony is, Jon is getting rave reviews and packing them in... The 'Machine' is unstoppable!!! That's the legacy!!!

Let me also point out that I've seen other bands, new and old, and they always lack a certain something so even with Jon's vocal state, he's still bringing a certain something to these shows that rival most acts...
