I'm watching/listening to the entire band and watching the production as well. If Jon was up there singing acappella with a quiet audience yes everyone would notice but that's not what is going on. As you said, people are singing themselves and badly lol! Plus, I'm not going to nail Jon to a cross over and over again on his vocal struggles. Believe me, he's listening back to the performances and he's harder on himself then anyone here can or will be. If he was mailing in performances (as I've seen him do occasionally in my 30+ years of seeing this band live) then I'd be a lot more critical. But, he and the band are giving their all. That's all I want for the dollars I pay for a ticket.

Exactly. I disagree with the accusations Jon doesn't care. He said at the Greenville show he's been working on it because he doesn't want to disappoint us at the live shows.

But there is nothing he or more so, you could do about it... You have two choices, live with it or walk away...

When you're there, especially on the floor where the crowd energy is high, his voice sounds fine. You simply don't pay attention to or notice each note or breath like you do watching a video or stream from your couch.

On video or live stream, he sounds like shit.

At the show, he sounds fine.

I'm glad it's not just me. I honestly didn't hear major problems when I was there. I may eventually hear the Birmingham official recording and think otherwise, but right now my hard drive is fried and I can't download it. So all I can go on is the experience I had, which was pleasant and something I enjoyed very much.

The reviews are positive too, so it's not just the fans that are under the spell if there is one.

Has there been one credible review that isn't a pun filled fluff piece by a local newspaper?

If he doesn't agree with it, it's not credible.

I'm living with it.

That doesn't mean I'll ever pretend everything's OK.
