Yeah, I can see it too. It was weird for him to say that today.

I don't even know what to say anymore when I watch these shows.

Over rehearsed, vocally unenjoyable, everything is slowed down... Song choice doesn't even matter anymore.

The only good news was Alec...

Shorter than I expected - I recorded it but don't have a clue how to share it, I'm sure someone more tech savy will have it up soon for those who missed it. If you stayed on the channel it is now right into the Rock in Rio show. I'm too hyped up to sleep now anyway.

Jon started out, imo weak - he's still yelling instead of singing but he sounded better, or I got used to it as the songs progressed. Hell - I enjoyed it.

I'm ready for the live shows now but like others said that Victory Lap is a bit concerning. I hope it's not a final run. I don't think that would happen without hitting Europe again too.

Time will tell.

I didn't get to watch it. What did he say about Alec and "victory lap"? (Interesting choice of words...)

I've long been in defense of Jon's current voice, but that being said...

That performance of When We Were Us was absolutely abysmal. Musically it was solid, but vocally it could not have been worse IMO. Weak and out of tune. I didn't see the rest of the show, but I pray to God it was better than that

Oh gosh that was worse than I hoped. I know David was high in the mix, but good gosh, they don't sound good together vocally. Richie's is really missed, especially now.

I wonder if this is the end - I'm glad I have tickets to the couple of shows at MSG to at least kind of say goodbye, and I know I'm sounding emotional and overly sentimental, but the attitude sounded like this might be it for bigger scaled tours.

After my last incredibly negative comment I'd like to admit that the rest of the show was actually pretty great (Bad Medicine sounded better than it has for years, and it was awesome to see Jon running about during ISWID).

That said, When We Were Us was still terrible.
