Perhaps the video quality posted isn’t stellar. There was also something a bit odd with the sound at the event as there was a slight echo after he sang.

1. A fan asked him to sing a verse of Silent Night...he tried but literally couldn’t remember any of the words. It was hilarious as he took it in stride.

2. Both Amen and Halliluah sounded amazing. He went for all the notes on Halliluah and hit them well

3. He said he wasn’t going to Europe.....because he was lazy. His words.

4. He said the NFL dream is dead because he can’t afford it anymore. The Panthers are rumored at 2.3 billion which is twice what are he Bills sold for. He said he is priced out

5. Really interesting question from a fan was if Jon could ask the fans something, what would it be. He answered with....are we over the Richie thing yet? Really funny. Then asked what 3 songs audience thinks he should play at Rock hall. Said LOAP will be one....hunted Itd My Life and said maybe a new song...because he wants to represent all 17 albums, and because he still makes music which he is proud of

6. Loves the two new songs....said he is as proud of when we were us as he was of early stuff

7. When he choked up about his voice, it was absolutely genuine. He needed to take about s minute to compose himself.

8. Most importantly, I got him to autograph my arm got a tattoo under lyrics of LOAP I have. It was awesome.
Thanks for the recap!

Could you elaborate more on point 7? Was he asked about his voice and then started choking up or couldn't hit a note and then choked up? What actually happened there?

Video was posted up above mate. He got asked what Jon would say to future Jon (or something along them lines) - He said he wish he could sing like he had that night. Then started speaking about his vocal situation and was getting choked up.

Sorry, I had missed it, thanks!

Holy shit, that was quite something. I feel bad for the guy who so suddenly has been losing his craft. But he should have had that mindset for the first 30 years of his career, especially since 2003.

It is refreshing to see him open up like that.

Gotta say that I haven't seen him moving around so much in Bad Name on the last few tours

A voice choking up that way when emotional usually indicates more of a mental thing. Not really a physical voice problem that way.
I haven't heard an actual problem with his upper range anyways (Except the thing that he's more careful up there).

His voice has deepened (Physically) which is the main problem including another one which is him probably thinking about his voice too much on stage which makes him emotional and prevents him from saying the words clearly (For example when he was emotional and said "I can't let me down" and pausing between each word.).

Something To Believe In 2001 at Tokyo shows more of physical voice problems, you can hear how the physical problems are different too due to straining and sometimes damage, also some Bounce Tour shows.
2013 shows more of the mental problems that affects his voice. (Jon always sings in chest voice (No matter the amount of chest voice he's using he's always singing in chest voice and some head voice for highest notes)).
Jon still has a pretty big range though (Before he reaches falsetto) for a baritone.

I really like how he's more open nowadays though, which is very nice.
He should try to somehow not think of his voice (Not saying that he should just sing however he wants and out of key, think of when your emotional or something and you stutter the words.) too much while on stage and try to not think about Richie at all (No insult intended) while onstage if he ever does.

That living in Sin was great.

Id happily see JBJ do gigs like this over the world but only if he charged sensible amounts and not 1000s

No Wanted Dead Or Alive? it's a joke?

I can understand Jon wanting to go up to his current lineup and show off with a new song, but this is not the right place, it is an honor for the merits of the first 25 years of his career, he should not leave out Wanted on a whim like this.

I feel that leaving out Wanted is to minimize Richie's impact on stage, and that stinks.
