Playing WWWU or THINFS would be a disappointment, people will wait for the classic Wanted. Jon can show off his new songs on ICON AWARDS from iHeartRadio, but doing it at HoF is a shit.

If you think Jon isn't doing Wanted to hold this over Richie's head and not showcase him then you are too far deep into the conspiracy wormhole.

Something like this would be good in my opinion if I was Jon:

God, KTF with dual off solos between Richie and Phil would just make me so so so so happy.

Yes. I said this here before, it would be the perfect song. Let Alec do the bass introduction and Richie and Phil the solos. It would be perfect.

Forget anything after TD as it isnt good enough with the exception of a handful of songs. IML maybe?

The more we lose Jons voice the more I love these shows... Ive been saying for years I want more of this! Anyone remember that "American Pie" rendition a few years back? Amazing... Get the band, tour a stripped back acoustic show... and before everyone says "they tried that with TLFR" it doesnt matter because if they did do it ... Id have to sell a kidney to be able to afford to go!

Something like Phil & Richie jamming at the end of Keep The Faith would be amazing and it would be something that would really create a buzz and get people talking about the performance, but i really fear that they are going to play it so safe that it's just going to be a boring and lackluster performance which will quickly be forgotten...I hope I'm wrong...

Agree. I think there a few factors involved here...

- Vocals are one
- Having 2 songs from the same album shows no growth.
- And Wanted wasn't their biggest hit. It's probably the coolest and most respected but lets face it, Prayer is their signature song - One of the greatest songs ever in the history of music.

It SOUNDS like he wants to do one song from each re-birth. Doing a new song.....I get it. I don't agree that they should but I get it. Doing 3 songs from the 80's is pure nostalgia, none of the hits from the 90's resonated enough with North America, bar Always, to be a consideration. They're not going to do both IML and Who Says.

If it's between Wanted and Prayer, Prayer was the bigger hit and thinking that it has anything to do with making Richie look bad is bonkers.
