I understand what you are saying. But since this concert is going to be placed in the record books (I hope), well why not play some great songs that haven't been played in a while? I expect a lot of hits, and I want to hear them. I love LOAP because the crowd singing along to it is electrifying, but why couldn't we hear Wild is the Wind, or Dry County? Dry County has one of the sickest guitar solos in all of music. People would like to hear it. Just stating my opinion, as we are all entitled to one.

You honestly think every person who has got a ticket for the CP show is a diehard fan? LOL
As Crushgen said, it's a MLB sponsored, media-frenzy show. Most of the people attending this show never heard of I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, nevermind Dry County. The 'rarest' song you'll hear at a show like that is something like Saturday Night. But, again, if their performance is great and the setlist doesn't have SHIT songs in it, it's fine.
You have a skewed view about Jovi songs. We might think Dry County is a masterpiece, but there's a reason why they never play it in the States: it tanks horribly with the average American. IIRC it did at Giants in '06 and it would again, terribly, at Central Park.
