BON JOVI: MORE ACOUSTIC/ELECTRIC SHOWS ANNOUNCED!!
(Wednesday, July 23, 2003)

BON JOVI have announced that four of the upcoming U.S. concerts on the summer run of their 2003 BOUNCE tour will be ACOUSTIC/ELECTRIC. The first half of the show is done acoustically. The second half of the show is full-blown electric. The band did this type of concert in Kiel, Germany back in June. Then, last week in Minneapolis, they did a show in this format for the first time ever in North America. And now, you have four more chances to see this unique concert experience. Here are the dates that will be in the ACOUSTIC/ELECTRIC format: PITTSBURGH (Post Gazette Pavillion in Burgettstown, PA on JULY 24th,) COLUMBUS (Germain Amphitheatre on JULY 29,)INDIANAPOLIS (Verizon Wireless Music Theatre in Noblesville, IN on JULY 30) and CINCINNATI (Riverbend Music Center on AUGUST 1.) So, if you have tickets to these shows, you're in for an amazing evening. If you don't have tickets yet, these are the tickets you need to have. It's a must see show - BON JOVI ACOUSTIC/ELECTRIC is an experience that needs to be had. For more info on BON JOVI, visit the different areas of this website. . I hoped for Connecticut because the venue there is like made for something like this. It's a pity.

You mean that it's just a plot to try to sell more tickets to these shows, none of which would then be currently sold out?

Even so, it still sucks. After missing out on the only European shows where something really special was happening (Kiel & Munich), and hearing the most stable set lists of the entire Euro tour at the British Isles shows, I really can't help feeling a bit miffed because of these half-acoustic shows (and some of the surprises in the set lists, like Fever last nite) the US is now getting. Maybe I'm just stupid and jealous and a pretty much worthless individual in every way, but I still can't deny the way I feel.

Yeah, I was hoping that Philly would be included too.

you're overexaggerating the US setlist changes - and for starters Fever was played in Europe (kiel) anyway

in fact US sets have been quite unimaginative - with nothing really new from Europe... let's hope that changes

and they didn't do it in the UK because of a) the types of venues they played and b) most fans would have gone mental because most don't want to see that

This is all kinda funny.
First all the set lists sucked in the US.
Then Europe got these set lists that were much better and the US fans bitched.
Now the US fans are getting acoustic shows and the European fans are bitching.
It's all kinda comical.
