as I said b4 - lets just hope he aint at twickenham"
I know it's rude to poll people on this, he does have a totally valid opinion. I regret it already, but I just can't seem to stop myself from asking the question.

I mean, is it really too much to expect Bon Jovi fans to be a bit more rock and roll?

I am the person in question and as stated I’m not a fuddy duddy – I just feel that Kid Rock is out of place at a jovi concert.
I am one cool dude !!
There will be parents taking the kids (who probably don’t even know that kid rock is playing) thinking that there will be no foul language and then this red neck comes on shouting about eating pussy and ****ing women.
There’s a time and a place for that – I love porn and eating pussy but I wouldn’t let kids know that.
Didn’t JBJ once have a word with Seb Bach about swearing coz a lot of kids attend Jovi shows.

Oh that's ****ing funny!

Just popped up from nowhere

And nah, you're not a fuddy-duddy, Kid Rock's not suited to Jovi shows - unless Jon or whoever gives him a talking to first and he sticks to cleaner songs.

If you just take the Devil Without A Cause album, then I agree, it would be out of place.

But that's like pigeonholing Jovi to one "hair band" album or saying The Beatles only ever sang psychedelic drug songs.

Some of the songs might be offensive - but Jon's language is never exemplary on stage - shit, it's a rock'n'roll show. Take the kids to see Hannah Montanna or something.

Do any of you honestly feel that kids are going to hear any language at a rock concert that they haven't already heard in school? Get real.

I've taken all my kids to concerts since they have been about 7 and it never freaked any of them out - or me out for that matter. Black Crowes concerts and Led Zeppelin concerts and even Van Halen are probably far less politically correct than Bon Jovi but I never found it a problem. Hell my 12 year old was offered a joint in Madison Square Garden about 6 years ago when The Who played there. Should I have kept her home? Not in my opinion - she wanted to hear the band - that is what was important.

If you go to any of the concerts of younger bands which we also do, such as Dave Matthews, Guster or Barenaked Ladies - the audience is usually so drunk that they are offensive. Should I tell my kids they can't go? Not in my opinion.

Hasn't Kid Rock changed his "image" recently and gone the country route? I don't even think that it is going to be an issue.

Yeah, he's really been branching more into Southern Rockish kind of stuff.
Personally, it doesn't bother me.

I think it would be well suited.
And what's with all this "protect the kids from nasty words" nonsense. They hear that all the time, and if they don't, trust me they will .

Even with all the country stuff in there, a Jovi show is still a rock show.
