Bon Jovi opening for Rolling Stones in Paris 1995. they didn't pay but didn't get money to play either. Also Metallica opened for the Stones for free.

Oh, and I'm just listening to her on youtube sounds really really nice. never heard of her before but her songs seem awesome. It's almost like Melissa Etheridge singing in Italian which is such a melodical language. Somebody was mentioning the stereophonics or Mel C. I can only hope that's a joke, otherwise it's simply stupid ignorance. I can't imagine anybody with a healthy brain preferring MelC over her. But that's just me.

I don't know her recent stuff, but from what I know this wording nails it pretty much perfectly.

A couple of years ago, she played a concert in my town for free. I didn't go because I wasn't interested in her music. Now I'm gonna see her in Munich, 1600KM far from where I live

I like her too - I discovered her from downloading a torrent at dime after listening to some stuff on youtube. As an opening act she should be enjoyable.

She also looks pretty damn good in that Vanity Fair picture - and she's not that much younger than I am Let's hear it for older women

Wow yeah she's aged very well I must say! Funny I still remember the lyrics - my Italian, what little I know, must still be there. I remember there was a very hunky/nice Italian man in her I Maschi video back then. :-0
