Default Giants...it's over until 2005

WOW! I have to say that is the most amazing BJ show I have ever seen. The crowd..the band awesome! Nothing has ever topped it. It made Philly's show look like crap. I really think it all had to do with the audience. Anyway, Jon promised to be back in 2005, so keep your fingers crossed. As for the setlist, this is from memory so here it goes:

Living In Sin
Blood On Blood
Opened with Twist and Shout
Right Side of Wrong
In These Arms
Raise Your Hands
BTBMB
Wild In The Streets
Bounce
The Distance
I've Got The Girl
Capt. Crash
It's My Life
I'll Be There For You
Faith
Blaze
You Give Love A Bad Name
Living On A Prayer
Bad Medicine
Runaway
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Everyday
Shout
Wanted
Saturday Night
Just Older

This is not in order either. For I've Got The Girl little Ava came out and danced. Very cute. Heather was seated in about the 20th row, Richie's side for a lot of the show..man is she beautiful. Anyway, I am tired now, more tomorrow, but WOW is all I can say. They played for 2 hours 45 minutes complete with fireworks at the end.

Also, Jon sang like normal tonight. None of that odd twang he uses so often live these days. He sounded just like the good ol' days. I guess being it was the last show, it just didn't matter.

He was in a great mood too. I know they are having a party after the show at Giants in some type of bar or club there b/c someone my friend knows was doing security tonight. He was in charge of looking after the family. Too bad he couldn't do anything for us, but oh well. Anyway, Jon was really happy and the entire band had a TON of energy.

I'm glad you had fun, Mouse. There's no place like Giants to see Bon Jovi, is there? Sleep now, and cough up the details tomorrow! Jon said they'd be back in 2005...hopefully the summer of 2005 to end another tour at Giants. That would mean it will be less than 2 years until they tour again. I'm kicking myself for passing up the opportunity to go to Giants the past 2 nights. Giants '89 was awesome...but you know how work can be.

I'll just bet they did! They know that they'll be able to get some rest for a bit. They had a very successful tour, and should certainly celebrate the end of it.

Giants 89..I was there too.

Oh yes, Jon commented on Ava's dancing by saying, "She looks like her Mother, but dances like her father!"

That's hysterical. The oompas say that it was David's daughter Gabrielle that danced with Jon last night, not his daughter Stephanie.

They played both of them last night - and lots of us went to both shows. Fantastic show - tons of energy. I'm still high.
