I could not agree more - some independence is a good thing

Actually..... I don't think that's an attitude I'd appreciate. I bet anyone who left would not have gotten their "money at the door." It's a good way to send fans away with a sour taste, in my opinion.

It's true that if you don't like what a band plays, you would not have to keep going to the shows. Independence yes! Being an ass toward fans.... not good. Maybe he didn't mean it that way; it is possible I just read the wrong tone in it. Were these people acting rudely? If so, then I'd understand it.

I really do not understand many people. For YEARS I read how BJ should do songs off These Days. This show had 3 songs from that album. You don't think BJ is doing that more for the die-hards? Damn when I saw them on the These Day's tour they didn't do two of these songs. Never thought I would get to see them 15+ years later.

Furthermore, I am sure most fans would prefer to hear Runaway over I'd Die For You. You don't think they did that for the die-hards? When was the last time this song was played for a crowd in NJ? 20 years ago?

Livin In Sin.....another song that fans in the NJ area have not heard except maybe one or two times in 20 years? You think the casual fan was sitting there thinking they better play Livin In Sin. No. I am sure they would have been just as happy with Make a Memory. Sin was there for the casual fan.

And yet people complain. Again, why do I care if Livin in Sin was played in some US state I dont live in, or if they played it over seas.

Also, 15 years later, I finally got to see Something for the Pain. Why do I care if every other city this tour got to see it also. You dont think the average fan would have liked to hear Have a Nice Day instead? They are doing this for the die-hard fans in each city.

At the end of the day, I got to see many songs I have not seen in years, or ever. Yes, I'd have liked to hear The Hardest Part is The Night, Only Lonely or Burning For Love, but at the end of the day I was entertained for 2:45, and saw / heard songs I have not heard in a LOOONG time.

To end, think of this. If we did not spend time reading every setlist night after night, we would be surprised to hear a song like Something for the Pain. You'd go home feeling like you saw something rare. Is it really BJ's fault a few thousand people read each and every setlist night after night?

Sorry to rant.

Except NO ONE whose gone to a show has said that, on here or on anywhere else I've seen a review.

Especially when you paid those ridiculous high prices!
Look son.

We understand you don't like the show, and a few others here don't.

THAT DOES NOT MEAN the other 50000+ didn't like it. Take your head out your arse and realise that people still like this band for what they're doing regardless of what 'jungleland' on a Bon Jovi forum thinks, right?

I don't even know what that means.

But hey, let's take part in JoviTalk's favourite activity. Judging from YouTube.

Go on YouTube and look at Meadowlands night 3 footage. See what the atmosphere and performance is like during 'Faith', 'Dry County', 'Sleep', and the Circle segment, okay?

THAT'S THE ONLY GREAT THING?

No. Not the good performance, not the good songs played, not the atmosphere, not the event overall. Few fireworks were the highlight.

jungleland - It's weird. You are the most infuriating person in the world but I respect you and your opinion. I give up on this subject, now, however.

The Schnitzelboy is always complaining, didn't get enough love from his mother when he was young.

I think there is wanting rare songs in the set list and then there is wanting the band to be something they are not. Bon Jovi will never be a Pearl Jam where they change all but 5 songs in a set...that's not realistic because that is not what an audience expects. With a Pearl Jam, Black Crowes, and even Bruce, you go into the show expecting that, they've built there reputation on that type of live show. I enjoyed all three shows, not sure which I liked best 2 or 3, I say that because Always was played in 2 and since it's my favorite song, I'd probably give show 2 the nod for favorite. Would I like songs I have not heard in years, sure, but I'm more concerned with the delivery of the songs played versus what songs are played when I'm evaluating a show. It sucks I can't make it to some O2 shows (starting a new job killed any chance at that).

What I am sad about is that I did not see Alana, Dave, Kathleen, Seb or Thierry at ANY of the shows!!
