Can't say I'm impressed with the openers at Giants. Gives me more time to mingle with other fans at the stands/parking lot! (I'm a fan of harder music, but I don't expect to see that kind of music at a Jovi show.) Different strokes for different folks! Oh well!!

Don't the Goo's and Sheryl Crow have shows elsewhere either the same night or another location far from giants the following night? Maybe that is why they aren't doing the giants shows..as far as these 2 openers suck..i know we are paying for bon jovi, but for the $$ we are paying, we deserved better opening acts...

Partay in the parking lot during the opening acts!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to so many "homecoming shows" in NJ, and to say I'm disappointed in the openers is an understatement.

I don't go to Giants shows or the Meadowlands shows just because it's Bon Jovi's home shows--as a whole bunch of fans travel from far and away to do it. I go because they are MY local shows and we usually get better than this. Even Sugar Ray was way better than these 2 artists!!!

Hey Lori - I'll put the beer in the cooler and load it into the back of my friend's truck to meet us in the parking lot since we'll be on the bus from the hotel with the fan club trip!!!

Yeah baby! Gonna be a couple of hours before we head inside the stadium for the main event. I don't want to be too shite-faced for the show, so we'll have to bring some munchies. Dayum Linda, me thinks there will be lots o' tailgating in the lot. Anyone else here on the board attenting the show not heading inside for the openers???

Why is everyone complainnig? All of these acts are good. You don't always have to see someone that you know and know. It's a chance to get influenced by new music. I'll get a chance to see all of them since I will be at The Vet in Philly also. I'd rather see Pete Yorn and Jason Mraz at Giants Stadiun and Goo Goo Dolls and Sheryl Crow at The Vet anyday. They've yet had an opening act that I didn't like so you guys can sit in the parking lot and I'll be more open minded and watch the opening acts. Maybe you should give them a chance like Bon Jovi wanted opening up for Kiss.

I don't know anything about Jason Mraz so I can't say anything about him, but Pete Yorn is AMAZING, and I can't wait to see him. I'd rather see him than the Goo Goo Dolls any day. Maybe the reason why he was chosen for these shows is because he is Jersey born and raised. He got his start playing at places like Birch Hill and The Stone Pony, so it's so great to now see him playing for 70,000 people. Like it or not, be respectful, unlike how people treated Eve 6 when they opened for Bon Jovi. Anyway, if you wanna find more on Pete Yorn, listen to his first cd, musicforthemorningafter, it's better than his new one. Download "Life on a Chain" or "Murray" to get a feel for his stuff, thanks/

Actually, I went to his site and don't like him at all. Way to mellow for me, but I am sure people will be respectful.
