Default Gillette Show in Danger?

Can't blame Jon on this one!

That would be unbelievably disappointing. Driving up from Maryland!

Wow! With the black cloud hanging over this tour, I'm sure the show will wind up canceled.

The risk is from personal liability and insurance - basically the stadium could potentially be made to pay out $50,000 per claim.

Shouldn't affect Bon Jovi though. It'll only affect events with large crowds.

I think they'll get it settled. With all the negativity around Kraft and the Patriots right now because of Hernandez, I can't see them letting these major concerts (especially the 2 huge TSwift gigs) get axed.

I think they will get this all settled, seeing that the Krafts can't afford anymore bad publicity right now and JBJ loves playing at Gillette even though it may not get the best sets, and this would be the second canceled show in the New England area this year after the Mohegan snow storm in February, it would be a real shame to see it canceled because its one of the two shows I have tickets for this year.

No new info on this situation. Honestly, Jon would probably be happy if this was cancelled. From all accounts, ticket sales are very shabby. On TM, there are tons of tickets left in all sections and price points.

I doubt he'd want the bad PR. I think the show will happen. The local government/Kraft people aren't going to want to miss out on the revenue 150,000+ summer concert goers will bring to the region.

As a side note, I just called Ticketmaster to see if refunds were being offered for this show on account of Richie not being on tour and Ticketmaster had no knowledge of refunds being issued for this show. I'll keep checking with them because despite the fact I have a great seat I don't want to attend another Richie-less gig.

Not related to the insurance issue, but the curfew for the show has been extended from 11:15 to midnight now.
