Default Going to Giants !

Hi Everyone
I'm new and off to New Jersey. I need help! Mainly does anyone know if you can bus from New York to the concert and back or it is better to stay in the surrounding area.

Also my tickets are for the GA VIP Pit. I know this is the area at the front but is it just General Admission standing or are there seats. Need to know as another friend might buy a ticket too and we want to make sure we will be together.

Any info or experiences will be great!

It is only GA standing. No seats.

And yes, you can get a bus from Port Authority to Giants with NO problem. There are extra buses running when there are concerts. Honestly, since you won't have a car, it will be just as easy for you to stay in NYC than in NJ since you have access to the bus.

That's great that you are making the trip over.

Good luck! Let me know if you need any additional information. I haven't lived in the area long (I'm originally from North Carolina) but I'm happy to help where I can.

I've posted both of these links before but I'll post them again:

The 351 is the special events bus from Port Authority of New York/New Jersey to Giants. Read all the info and links on those pages. It's pretty easy access.

Hi guys,

My friend and I are thinking of making the trip over to the Giants on the 29th, she is just trying to talk her hubby into it. Any ideas on which area to stay in if we do decide to go for it? Don't know if we would be cheaper trying to stay in East Rutherford and the surrounding areas or NY? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Marion

Hi Marion

Glad to see I'm not the only nut case then!

We are going to stay in New York. It would be a bit cheaper to say in NJ but the amount that the flight is costing at this time of year we are going to make the most of it and do the whole NY thing.

There are buses from the Port Authority Bus terminal to the Stadium. See link further up this post. Very useful.

Rock on for going for it!!!

Angie

Sorry forgot to say - the bus terminal I am referring to is in New York and I think it is only about half an hour to the Giants Stadium
