I'm definitely not expecting anything like this for either of the 2019 shows, but hopefully we'll get a few more rarities than the last few shows of this leg. And a decent public stream!

2019 Setlist: TBA
Now this was a f*cking proper setlist. And it was only 8 years ago!

That's just made me sad seeing that set list.
Will never get anything like that ever again.

I won't be there on the first night I'll be there on Sunday and I'm hoping everyday that he's in a good mood like he's been the past few shows. I'm really bummed we won't be getting the nice stage I think the screens look really great and add alot but we'll see I guess

That was my last Bon Jovi show. I went both nights. Night one was good but night two was something special. Jon wasn't taking any prisoners that night.

I remember walking out of the venue into the mild summer night and saying to my friend that I'd be happy if this was the end. As a These Days fanatic seeing Damned and Hey God live in the same show was totally unexpected and both performances were great.

Little did I know what was to come.

Sums up my feeling of the 2011 shows, both nights were brilliant. The show in Slane in 2013 didn't come close.

Looking ahead to this weekend I don't think my expectations for a Jovi show have ever been as low but I am prepared to be surprised!

Damn, you forget how good the European, Australian and South American shows were on The Circle tour.

Id love them to open with Hey God, Good Guys or even Rockin In The Free World.

THINFS just does not work as an opener for me. Its such a dull lifeless song and its a real mood killer after all the screens have built up the band coming on.

PS - Safe to say we are never getting anything like that above set list again. Ever.

About the stage, I would be disappointed not to get the full package as technically, we are paying ticket prices for the venue, band, singing, screens, stage etc, the same as other countries so I can see why some would be pissed off if this is true.
However, the screens appear to be what makes the stage really cool this time (Last time at RDS was the half moon and the movement which highlighted certain songs, obviously we had the amazing car stage but lost the sets as Richie vanished so I just hope the screens are there for those great affects).

so tomorrrow I am heading with low expectations which is a shame. I can imagine a good crowd and Jon being the showman but the voice issue will likely appear....only two nights to recover for this one. I hope for more songs but in truth there are other rare songs he could add in without wrecking the voice. Something off Bounce would be good! Last time at RDS the snippets were great fun but they seem to have been dropped now. Critics are going to be out, yes, but to be honest, there is very little Jon can do other than mime to solve the voice issue. I will sing loud as always, maybe drown Jon out lol, but in the end I will applaud the guys for the efforts on the night no doubt. They are longer in their 20s/30s, expectations have to change and I can accept that.
