For gold circle it's a case of the earlier you get there, the nearer to the front you'll be

Yeah thats what I thought, but there is a row number?

How early do you usually need to get there with GC tickets to be near the front?

88 all in - highest ever I have paid for a ticket...higher than U2, The Eagles and Springsteen... I only paid that much mind because if I *didn*t get the GC I would be stuck at the back - at least with U2 you (and everyone) have the option of going at 6 and getting right to the front.

I got there last year after 2 (train was cancelled, then got lost) and still got pretty damn close. This time I want to get there much earlier though, close as possible.

Well hopefully the queue won't be a shambles this time. A lot of people last year turned up very late and got very close, ahead of those who'd queued many hours.

They just didn't have enough physical barries. At one point the entire snaked queue just collapsed and everyone rushed into a single big group.
