Got on stage at a BJ concert
This is a little dated but I just had to share this experience. I went to the July 17 2003 BJ concert in Toronto Canada, along with a friend of mine. Before the show started she turned to me and stated, "we're getting on that stage" I said "Oh sure we are! how?" When my friend gets something in her head there is no stoping her!! She saw one of the BJ crew and went running up to him. Several minutes later she came back screaming waving two wrist bands. She yelled, "we got on" When all the sreaming and cheering subsided, I asked her how she managed that. She told the guy she really wanted to get on and that it would make my day since it would be a birthday present for me(it was my b-day the day before) the guy asked who I was, she pointed to me and he said, "Ok you ladies have fun" and he passed her the two wristbands!! When it was our turn we ran through the crowd(which mind you, many were giving us those, evil, jealous eyes), and went up the stage while accompanied by security. I'd say there were about 15-20 fans total on the stage. It was such a wonderful experience!! We felt like we were part of the show because we were so close. the energy was insane when we were on stage. They played such songs when we were on stage as raise your hands and Sleep when I'm dead. During Raise your hands, I went crazy beacuse that's one of my fave BJ songs. Richie was right in front of me at one point. I raised my arm up and yelled, "Whoooaaa!" And Richie, I S@#% you guys not, stared right at me winked, raised his hands and said whooooaa to me back!!! That just added to my excitment of being on stage!!!
