Look at the ways the last few tours have opened relative to their respective albums!

Bounce - Opened with song 11 from the album - Not a single.
Crush - Opened with song 12 from the album - Single.
These Days - Prayer, Rocking In The Free World, and I'm sure others.
Keep The Faith - Opened with 1st song on thw album - Single (not in US.)
New Jersey - Opened with 1st song on album - Single.
Slippery - Opened with 6th song on album - Not a single.

No pattern from the last 3 at all.

But planned as one as soon as the tour in Europe would start. It didn't work out that way though.

Or Livin' On A Prayer.

Wrong. All shows started with Lay Your Hands On Me. The Cross Road tour started with Livin' On A Prayer, Rocking In The Free World, Helter Skelter and Hey God.

Can't comment on those, haven't got them worked out yet.

Seb - That is incorrect.

These Days did open many shows with Livin' On A Prayer. In fact, Live From London did as well. I know the shows in 96 may have opened with LYHOM, but many of 95's shows opened with Prayer. Crossroad was 94 - The only show I went to on that tour actually opened with With A Little Help From My Friends.

As for Keep The Faith, I don't know. All the shows I attended or have seen started with I Believe.

You are right about Crush - I know some of the shows did open with Prayer. In the US however, they all opened with OWN.

Im just hoping Bounce songs will be kept to a miniumum, its a good sign that they didnt play everyday for either of the Promo shows. Also if they HAVE to play Captain Crash lets hope it aint in the frigging encore every night like the last tour.

The tour for Cross Road started in 1995. It wasn't the tour for These Days, but there were songs from These Days played though. It wasn't before the Australian leg of that tour that more songs from These Days were put in the setlist, before that most of the time only 3 or 4 songs from These Days made it into the setlist. The Live From London show isn't from the These Days tour either, something a lot of people think because there are songs from These Days played.

All shows for the Cross Road tour. The Here There And Everywhere Tour.

During some nights they didn't play I Believe but went straight into Wild In The Streets.

I know. Asia and Europe got Prayer, sometimes I Believe and one time The Boys Are Back In Town. North America got One Wild Night.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Salaam Aleikum,

I saw them in 1994 when they were promoting Crossroad. December 8th to be exact.

When did the Austrailian Leg start then? I saw them in August of '05, and was most definitely the These Days tour - Unless all my merchandise from the show is a fraud. They played pretty much the same set list as they did at Wembley. Started with Prayer and Bad Name - Finished with Wanted and Love Song.
