I'm sastisfied. I think if I were in Emil's position or even Debs, I wouldn't be happy but the tours aren't designed for the hardcore, see 30 shows a tour fan. What the band plays at a different show doesn't mean dirt to me, what matters is what they play when I'm there. I can't write off a whole tour because Minnisota got Damned and I didn't.

Meh. As long as I go to a show and have a tougher time guessing what song is next than the previous tour, I'm happy. I usually don't see more than 6 shows a tour so I'm okay.

No wonder the ticket sales over here are disappointing, because, like it or not, people have seen it all before. One Damned or one Garageland a show is not going to make the casuals come back and see them again. However, throwing in songs like Hey God, I Believe, Wild Is The Wind and One Wild Night certainly would. It's time for some major changes in the core of the setlist. A "revolution" if you will. Sure, they have to play the biggest hits and some of the new stuff, but the ones mentioned above should really be replaced. As of now, it's the same boring setlist as previous tours, with the one change that Jon is playing one gem a night. Maybe that's good enough for you, it isn't good enough for me.

Hell, I've even heard I Got The Girl four or five times (I think). So you can imagine my excitement now that they're bringing out that "rarity" again.
I see where you're coming from, but it seems to be pleasing more people i think.
Yeah sure they should drop the songs like I got the Girl for better rarities, but maybe some people like this song and would love to hear it live.
I'm sure all of us on here would love to listen to songs like Wild is the wind and i believe a lot, but i can't see that being in the setlist for a few nights on the run.

I hear ya, but there would be no harm in leaving Born To Be My Baby and Captain Crash out of the setlist for a couple of tours. And replace them with One Wild Night and Wild Is The Wind. Next tour, they could play Dry County and Hey God instead.

I'm not looking for a setlist designed for the die-hards, not at all. But surely the casuals wouldn't mind those changes, and it would be a hell of a lot funnier for the ones who have seen them the previous tours. You gotta agree with that.

Ah, it's just frustrating, you know. It would be so easy for the band to do, and yet lazy Jon won't do it. How ****ing hard is it to play One Wild Night instead of Captain Crash if just for one tour?

Oh I agree with you the band is not catering to someone like me who does typically attend more than 25 shows a tour. And I've always been more about "how" the songs are delivered versus what is played. And in the US, the post 2000 songs like Who Says get more of a reaction then anything from the 90s, even KTF. But, Jon is smart enough to know he can't play the same set in Europe that he plays in US, he knows the audiences are completely different. I think the Europe shows will be killer.

Yeah, of course "some" people like it. But the changes that I (and a few others of course) are suggesting would be pleasing just as many people, if not more. Again, how about a setlist filled with the big hits, the fan favorites and the new Lost Highway-material? Would it please the casuals? Certainly. Would it please the die-hards? Indeed.

Well, there you go. It's not that hard.

It's been good I think, not fantastic, but good. I've seen the band four times during the tour, three times on the tour proper. 2 of the 3 tour shows (10/28 and 11/9) were very good from performance perspectives, but I was disappointed with the 11/10 show. While I know that the 2/12 Concert for The Cure isn't part of the tour proper, I mention it just to say that the band, especially Jon sounded better there then in the fall. Setlist wise, it's a mixed bag for me: I really wish they'd pull out more from New Jersey and more from the 90's ala' Dry County, Hey God, I Believe..you get the point. I also can't stand the TLFR Rape that is Bed Of Roses, and wish it was dropped. And the encores have more or less sucked. Really the only good encore I can think of is 11/9, but there may be others. On the other hand though, there are some set aspects I like. I think the HAND/KTF/Prayer main set closer is great. I think they've chosen good live songs as regulars from LH (If only AOD could replace Strangers as even a semi-regular though, but I digress) As for the rarities/non-regulars, as I said earlier I wish they'd play more 90's stuff, but (And I know I have weird tastes) they've pulled out a lot of songs I personally enjoy (Miss Fourth Of July, Right Side of Wrong, Damned, Diamond Ring, Misunderstood, Mystery Train, Lay Your Hands On Me, I Get A Rush, Garageland)
So, all in all I think the tour's been good so far, and hopefully it continues improving.
