If that was ever true (which I doubt for the most part) it couldn't be true for this tour anyway due to the screens and such.

Yeah. I mean, besides IBTFY from Jon, nothing in it was really "rare", but it's four great, classic, encore worthy songs.

Well, I think I STILL cannot believe that i am not seeing them AT ALL this tour as they have completely ignored upstate New York. And with no summer shows a possibility it makes me even sadder. I am loving the recent sets and would have killed to have heard some of these songs (ie, Blood Money, Blaze with Daughtry, Miss 4th of July, etc) they are pulling out at a show, but I have no shows to look forward to. ;(

Okay.... pity party over now

It's just a big shock NY never got a date still.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Mixed feeling really.

I think when the tour started and we had the 'Hank' version of 'Lost Highway' as the intro etc, I was thinking what the f*$k and also with the other band members joining the shows I felt we had lost something. Jon's voice also seemed in poor shape and the sets didn't seem that inspired either, but....

They have pulled out some songs rarely played during the HAND tour (4th July, Garageland, Damned, Never say goodbye, Right side of wrong, Misunderstood, Living in sin, Lay your hands on me, I get a rush, Joey, These days, Stranger in this town, Blaze of glory, Blood money, Open all night) to name a few. Some of these songs I really didn't think we would hear live again. I still think there will be more suprises along the way and the set list generally changes for Europe, so it will be interesting. I hope Jon's voice hold up for the rest of the tour.

I am going to Southampton & Twickenham(2nd night) looking forward to both!

But that's not what they're doing right now. They play recent album cuts. Is Captain Crash well known? Joey? I Got The Girl? Story Of My Life? ****ing Open All Night?

Trade these songs for fan favorites like Hey God, Wild Is The Wind, One Wild Night and I Believe, and you've got a much better setlist immediately - for the casual fan, the casual concert goer, the die hard and what not.

I just thought that due to them sound checking 'Letting you go' we could have more from 'These days' in Europe. Don't bet against hearing:

These Days
Damned
(Its Hard) Letting You Go

I would be over the moon to hear 'Hey God' at some point.

The problem is that 'Crush' got Bon Jovi a new audience so it seems to me that in their minds (Jon) has 2 audiences to please.

I would also love to hear 'Hey God, Wild Is The Wind, One Wild Night and I Believe' again.

Yes, so why the over representation of tracks that please the part of the audience that discovered the band with Crush? They do play a lot more album cuts from the 00's, and in my book, there's really no need for that.

And I still believe that the majority of the crowd would prefer a song like Hey God or I Believe to I Got The Girl and Misunderstood. But I don't know, I might be wrong.

I think you also have the fact that the tracks from 00's are easier vocally and are less strain etc.
