The trains run on kinda dodgy times and Kings park station is not really out the way but it's easy to get lost in the streets going back because they all look the same. It's pretty easy to miss the last train if you come out late and aren't totally sure of where to get the station.

There's only one pub remotely close to the stadium, the next is a good 15 minute walk away.

taxi's are nigh on impossible to get after the gig and even if you do manage one, you're going to be moving very slowly in queues for ages. i walked home from the u2 gig at hampden and made better time than the taxis.

walking to the city centre after the gig is definetely not the most intelligent thing to do if you're planning on going out or have a hotel there.
Thanks for the info but you might have just put me off!! I've never been to Glasgow before - is the stadium far out of the city? I wanted to get back to Newcastle on the night after the gig, but dunno if this is feasible...might have to reassess which show to go to.
