I thought they recorded all their shows too. I hope that if they put out a DVD this year it will be from one of the Giants shows. I can see them calling it something like "The Homecoming: Live from Giants Stadium, New Jersey: Who Says You Can't Go Home??"

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

They record every show for their own archives, but to record a show for proper release requires higher quality equipment. For anyone who's seen the 6 Hyde Park tracks on the TLFR Live DVD you'll have noticed that the quality was pretty bad, that's because they weren't recorded for release. The quality of the Crush show and the TLFR show are much better because they recorded them specifically with the intent to release them.

I was just thinking about, seeing as how they're starting the Japan shows now, wouldn't it be great if they released a Japan show for DVD??
I mean they always do great shows there, or so the setlists makes me think, plus they've never done that before and I think it would be really cool.
That's all.

Well you are right they haven't done that sofar. But the Japanese audience is a bit lame. If you check bootlegs you barely hear any audience at all. So the atmosphere of the show will not be a 100% then.

everyone knows the best place for a dvd to be shot will be croke park. Massive stadium, great audience, great show!! Does anyone know why they chose switzerland to record the crush dvd?? It was a preety crap stadium and it was a crap performance imo.

Crush DVD sucks indeed as did the TLFR dvd. We need something great like Live in London quick!

But filming Wembley two times... I don't know it's a whole new stadium altogether so... why not?

They may decide to film the gig in 2007 (if that is going to happen) for dvd. But I'm thinking probably not, because the stage would be exactly the same as it would be a one-off gig... Releasing two dvd's from one tour wouldn't be a bad idea, but the whole thing would have to be different enough. Stage, indoor-outdoor, clothing, show, country and so on...
