Default HAND-tour venues?

Why Bon Jovi had this year so many gigs in the open air spaces like Koblenz, Hessisch, Stuttgart, Nijmegen, (Innsbruck) and Montreal?
I would think that it would be more pleasant for audience to use stadiums instead of those open air spaces...?
And by the way why in the world they had gigs in such places like Hessisch, Innsbruck and Nijmegen?
Hessisch is a very small village if you will, there would have been tons of better places in Germany...
And why they used Nijmegen... why not Amsterdam Arena or some other stadium like in Bounce- and One Wild Night-tour?
And Innsbruck... What made them think that it is better place to play than Wien for example? There are many good stadiums like Ernst Happel and Gerhard Hanappi...? Even in Insbruck there are better places than Olympia World... like Tivoli Neu Stadion?
Don't get me wrong, not blaming anyone, just wondering who decided to put them play in such places and what could have been the reasons...?
It just some times pisses me off 'cause they don't come to Scandinavia for example Finland; In Crush tour they had two gigs in here and both of them were sold out...
And I'm not here to complaining of skipping Finland and Sweden 'cause that doesn't go anywhere but just curiuous...?

There was this thing called World Cup in Germany this summer, so that probably had something to do with the fact that they didnīt play in the most usual places. Stadiums were reserved for football.

And theyīre skipping Scandinavia because of poor album sales in Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Crush did well, hence the 2 shows here. Bounce & HAND didnīt, so no shows.

There are 43 stadiums in Germany which's capasity is over 20 000 people. That means that when there is a concert the amount of the audience is about 30 thousand people or more...
World Cup was arranged in about 10 stadiums... that cannot be the whole reason.....

This is off-topic, but the money-issue keeps pissing me off. I remember reading an interview with Richie a while ago and he was saying, that the band would like to play places like Indonesia, Malaysia and South America again, but that they had to look at he economical aspects of touring such places and that it wouldnt work out financially. Now they never used to care bout things like that until the mid 90s. Besides we all know they dont exactly need the money.
If they don't wanna play those more "exotic" places because they miss their families and simply dont wanna go on long tours anymore, thats ok and I'll totally accept it, but just be honest and say so!

maybe they are being honest, there is no set in stone rule that they have to give you an eplanation like if they owe something to you, just take what they give or don't, simple, otherwise you'll wind up a miserable old man because Bon Jovi don't tour everywhere.
And that's a pretty lame reason to be a miserable old man.

Or they did care but economic such-and-such has changed so while before it was financially feasible to go ________, it might not be anymore.

You're deluding yourself if you think they ever played anywhere that wasn't financially worthwhile. That's what Doc McGee taught them best.

I aint complaining since I live Germany and we get to see BJ about 5 times each tour and you're right, they dont owe anything to anyone, but the money-issue really gets me going. Bloody capitalism...

It is hust so weird that guys that have as much money as Jovi cannot do anything without financial advantage...
Of course, they don't owe us anything but still would think that visiting in exotic countries once in ten year shouldn't be impossible just because money they might loose...
it is totally different when it's about some little band but Bon Jovi... You would think that guys who donate million dollars to Oprah just to gain popularity, (don't hit me), would'n be able stretch some money...
