They played Parc Jean Drapeau in Montreal because there is no big enough stadium in Montreal for a summer gig for band like BJ. There is the Olympic Stadium, it's huge, but it's covered, it's expensive and the sound sucks big time.
Parc Jean Drapeau is a very cool venue for summer concerts.

Percival Molson Memorial Stadium... When that is sold out in concert it takes about 35 000 people... at least the same that was in Parc Jean Drapeau...

So? There still is a business side to it.

Who's job is it to lose money?

And want to keep on loving it.

But they aren't enough of them in some places.

And wish there were more of them in some places.

And so should spend it blindly? Would you do that?

Right for who?

Buy more of them...

I think you have no idea what their job is.

No, it's given them the chance to choose, to take the time they want to go where they want. And as the good performers AND businessmen that they are, they go for the win-win options.

So you just want to resagree, ok...
Your argumets are just... cannot find the right word.... stupid, meaningless and pointless, you just wanna write som words... without any sense or meaning...
THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE.
Ok, lets do this: You write a post and then I continue it if you think it is funny.
You don't have to write everything down you are thinking.
Go to lift some weights; you can talk and talk but still they don't complain...

World Cup was arranged in about 10 stadiums... that cannot be the whole reason.....
Why play in a stadium with a capacity of 20 000 ? When the can play venues with more than 50 000 in the audience?
What's wrong with Cannstatter Wasn in Stuttgart or a nice place in front of the chateau in Koblenz? Nice ambience.
I don't know where the number 43 comes from. But I'm pretty sure that this is not the number of stadiums that are approved for concerts. Most of the stadiums are for sport events and football. There are a lot of additional requirements to achieve for concerts and other events.

You don't like any answer or suggestion anyone makes and you can't even reply properly so you just choose to insult me. I have read the whole thread thanks, and it is because you refuse to accept anyone's suggestions that makes me think you are just bitter. They didn't play there, deal with it.

It just pisses me off that I have to send a hundred messages just to say that read again... And just to remind, insult always doesn't appear in a for of one word... It is really irritating that when I say that I'm NOT complaining about them skipping the Finland, still you think that is the reason of starting this thread. So I'm very sory if that "idiot" word hurts so much...
I'm now used to it that they don't visit here in Finland and I swear I'm not complaining about it!

What is the point of the thread then? Why do you not listen when people make suggestions? I don't know why I'm even bothering really, I give up

I listen but as well as you I have my own suggestion...
And you don't have to give up, 'cause I will.
I now release this thread to someone else's blame to take, seeya.

Again you don't know what you are talking about. Still you think you're the one making sense... anyway...

Percival Molson Stadium is the last place you'll see a concert, more over a rock concert. The only musical event I can think of that took place there was a classical music concert organised by the Canadian Football Team that plays in that stadium.

All the big summer concerts in Montreal happen at Parc Jean Drapeau.
