I would hate Bon Jovi to play Hyde Park again, based on the fact that the organisation sucks the sweat from a bison's baggy bits. I queued for hours, sitting in the 20m of fencing they bothered to erect while others turned up an hour before gates opened and just stood outside it and strolled past us and security, straight into the pit. I was stuck over to the right, not too far back but the sound was shocking.
Maybe it's got better since then, but it's such a sprawling venue and the English are shite at organising stuff like this.
By contract, just saw Springsteen in Dublin Sunday night at the RDS; another sprawling venue, lots of queuing issues but it was handled superbly by the promotions company and the Police. I think I would go to every other gig apart from Hyde Park... if the album's worth it
