Also, it doesn't necessarily have to be a Bon Jovi DVD, Sky could decide to screen the whole thing?

You might be correct, but then again, if they did release the HRC show at Hyde Park, on DVD, it would --- further prove that he is, indeed, "Superman", ummm ... see what I'm trying to say?

Yes, the band does record every single show, they probably have almost from the beginning, Tony and another guy do this, backstage, during the show.

I got a glimpse of Tony on one of the Backstage tours a while back, (seems he's people shy), anyway, I sure wish I could have spoken to him. Like, I would have had a shot in hell, lol ... just dreaming ...

I've been looking for the - Greensboro, NC - 2008 - (video and or audio) - bootleg ever since that show - one long term fan even told me to write to Tony and ask him about it.

All I could do was laugh and cry, all at the same time.

Like, I had his email addy or something?

Really???

I could not determine if they meant well or were being sarcastic.

At least, we have YouTube and other very kind and generous souls, who are willing to share with us, thankfully.

"Injured & not himself" or not, he/they were outstanding. It was Bon Jovi at their best. It was dominant in both performance & setlist. This deserves to be released on DVD. Jon needs to not worry about the masses seeing his knee in a brace and just release it...it'll only enhance his legacy. I'm sure any recording by either the Jovi people or HRC people is outstanding enough for us! Atleast I have the audio for now (thanks Jay!).

Default cd

I've bought an audio CD of Hyde Park show from ebay so someone must have put the absolute radio show on disc already.

This.
For the casuals it would make him look like a one tough s.o.b. that he actually is.

I don't expect a DVD, the biggest reason being not Jon's injury, but the fact they didn't have their own stage. I know Bruce did the same thing (and IMO, the Jovi hyde park show was better than Bruce's 2 years ago), but for Jovi the production is more important. They're not U2 by those standarts, but still the big moving-splitting screens and montage videos play a big part of a Bon Jovi show in 2010s.
Plus, if they decided to release the show on DVD, they'd have to make some overdubs and editing, especially for something like I'll Be There For you, which has been sounding lovely these past two years, but the HRC performance was one of the worst.

If that. Usually it's 6-7 of the most popular songs.

Hopefully the band release the whole show off their own backs.

Yeah, that's exactly what it is.

It will be a two hour show with the headliners at the end. Two years ago they only showed one Neil Young song from his set.

Nothing is set in stone.

I couldn't disagree more... IBTFY at HRC was excellent, the crowd could not have enjoyed it more, they had fun with it, fun with the crowd, i may be in a minority, but it was one of the highlights IMO!
