gazthomas, why should Sebastiaan shut up when he says the truth. Yes, Jon is moody but even more a professional and he never ever would cancel a show because he is not in the mood to play or whatever.

Sebastiaan, when I think of for example of Oasis who cancel shows because they fight or because one of them prefers to buy a house instead, I think this has very much to do with being respectless to the fans. They for sure don't have any respect.

Plien, not everyone is able to go to another date. Jon knows that people from all over the world are at the concert. It's not that easy to reshedule a concert. Beside the fact that it is also not easy for the band. They need the stadium, the people who work for them etc at the new date.

Then I think you're just silly and you shouldn't be on a messageboard that's made to discuss things about Bon Jovi. You tit.

You're paying 40 Euro's for a show and all you get is crappy show because the singer's ill. Every singer can be ill, but there's always a way to reschedule it. Always.

I don't think it's very professional to do a show while you're very ill and not able to give the public what they want.

Not any respect is a big word, cancelling a show because a singer lost it's teeth is not really something that can be called disrespecfull, you can't sing without you're front teeth now can you ? Though I do agree, Liam's ego sometimes is way too big. However, the buying a house thing isn't really the exact reason, it's more just a way to piss off Noel again, but in a way you're right, he should get over it and just perform for the people that paid for them.

A band as big as Bon Jovi is. I don't think they're willing to do so, but the Stones cancelled a show in June or something, and rescheduled it to the end of the tour. Bon Jovi is that big that they can do exactly the same.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Really? I know they sold only 2.000.000 copies of KTF in the US, wich is a very poor number compared to Slippery and NJ sales, but did they really cancelled an entire leg of the tour!?!?

Sebastian is right...when you are ill the way Jon was in Padova 2001 you have to postponed the gig. I remember many fans didn't realize he was ill so they were very disappointed at the end of the show.
It hasnt been a good thing for the band's reputation.

I didn't mean the fight in the German hotel where he was hurt, there there was of course a reason. I meant the permanent fights between the Gallagher brothers. If they don't get along, they cancel the show.

I think performing sick is the better option and it's something the band has done many times. If they reschedule a concert, then thousands of people have to reschedule their plans, hundreds of workers are either out of their job for the night or the venue is out paying them. The financial and legal hassle to reschedule would usually outweigh the discomfort of playing.
