When I saw them a couple of weeks ago in London (Ontario) I didn't really notice the fiddle too much on the older stuff.

But what really bothered me was when she came up front and centre to "jam" with Richie! Ridiculous! And not only once, but twice (if memory serves). I didn't pay that kind of money to watch her up there with her fiddle. Stay in the back, woman!

Yeah, that's ridiculous. Jon needs to get over his E-Street band fetish right quick.

On Who Says which is where she comes out the second time I think that's okay because that song (the country version) does have a fiddle.

I can see where folks are bothered by the fiddle in songs where it wasn't before, though it really doesn't bother me (but I'm not one of those messing with your memories folks either) and Jon has said that this tour is the only time these extra folks will be there (meaning Lorenza and Kurt).

So stay home then (like I do!) - listening to the records pre LH (with the exeption of TLFR) will be more joyful than this country (c)rap.

So here's a reply from someone who hasn't been to the shows, but can actually answer your question, unlike such a ****ing clueless backstage moron who focusses more on Jon's pants than to the songs the pants are singing.

There's been a violin in the following songs:

Wild In The Streets
Living In Sin
I'll Be There For You
In These Arms
These Days
Right Side Of Wrong
Joey
The Radio Saved My Life Tonight
Who Says You Can't Go Home
Bells Of Freedom

Most of them sound pathetic and make it sound like they're playing in some forgotten saloon nobody cares about. This effect is achieved by letting Lorenza playing the parts the keyboards of David normally do, and whenever he does so, he multiplies the violins by 20 so that it sounds like an orchestra instead of some drunk violin player like Lorenza.

Hope this helps.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
The first time I have to say you're right!

After the first few shows she showed up a lot less on older material but she was always there on the Lost Highway stuff.

I remember Jon saying that he understood why TLFR was not accepted - it messed with our memories. Apparently he did not get that message loud and clear because many of these arrangements messed with our memories too

And to play devil's advocate here - I don't mind a new arrangement if it has something fresh or new to offer. But to just tart up the mix with extra instruments is not a good idea.
You're starting to be on the good side right now!!

$3K are better spent throwing in the toilet than watching a nightmare like this revue.

I will spent my money next year to be as far away from them than I possibly can.

Oh, have a blast at Disney World.
You go girl. If you're able to go to as many BJ concerts as you want, you deserve to spend you're hard earned money as you like. I wish I could that, so I envy you.
